Very Good People
I have never met nicer people than when I went to Alaska. Well to be specific me and my children went to Skagway. I discovered their great attitudes and their great ability to make people smile when we went to a Skagway restaurant. My son was having one of those days where kids cry for no reason at all and this waitress really brought his spirits up. I never saw him so happy and after that when we got to the food it was simply irresistible. I had this Cajun dish which simply was remarkable. The taste of it was like biting into a cloud of greatness. It definitely was a good day for me after me and my kids received that great hospitality from those great people who worked at the food establishment. I just was shocked that in this world nice people still existed. Usually it is hard to find truly nice people but, not this time.

Even though I’m a chef that organizes a lot of hog roasts, I have to say that chicken is my own personal favourite. I absolutely love chicken. There are so many different ways to cook it and eat it. So many different flavors, textures and cuisines, it is so delicious. One of my favorite ways to eat chicken is to indirectly cook chicken breasts covered with my mom’s secret barbecue rub, on the barbecue. The chicken is so tender and juicy and sweet. It tastes so good by its self, but I also like to mix things up. Sometimes I will eat it with barbecue sauce, or ketchup or honey mustard. I always love to eat it with a vegetable side dish and homemade macaroni and cheese. My second favorite way to eat it is in a salad. No matter what way chicken is cooked, it is absolutely delicious and healthy and it is most definitely my favorite food ever!

My Thai Beach is the best Santa Cruz Thai restaurant by far. In this post, I’m going to give you my reviews of eating at My Thai Beach Santa Cruz Thai restaurant the other day.
You would never know it’s a recession, because every weekend this small restaurant in the Capitola Village is packed with people. I have been going to My Thai Beach restaurant in the Santa Cruz area for over 6 months now. They used to have a young Thai girl dance in full costume and it was a great ambiance. She was very much into her culture and she was only 11. I accidentally found this place when I was pregnant & craving Santa Cruz Thai food and Vietnamese sandwiches, and Indian food. I drove by & my mouth was watering! I couldn’t resist.
I have had just about everything there, and my 3 kids will eat veggies, fish, and calamari without hesitating, even my 1 year old. They love it! The family that runs it is very personable. They are almost all family, the kids are putting themselves through college, and they work hard, their mom is usually cooking in the back. My kids love everything on the menu. So be prepared to wait, and if you have kiddos bring them something to do, and kiddie or baby drinks. They do have plastic plates if you request. If you want spicy food, they got it, you just have to speak up. I used to like my food really kicking, and after having my gall bladder removed, you can’t enjoy it so much. So I usually go medium-spicy.
My favorites at My Thai Beach Santa Cruz Thai restaurant are Satay, Pal Saw won, sweet garlic fish, crab and green beans, share a Roi if you don’t have too much of a sweet tooth. My kids ages 6 and under eat everything on their plates. They will fight for the last of the food, it’s so good we always take home our left overs, it’s just as good the next day, even if you don’t t properly store it. The staff knows us, and are fair with our portions, they do family style servings, but they use fresh ingredients so it’s not that big, but definitely worth every penny. We usually order one dish per head, and rice with it and it’s perfect although we r light eaters.
You will be pleasantly surprised if you use your patience here at My Thai Beach restaurant in Santa Cruz, and open your mind. Ask them what is good today, they will tell you, sometimes they will take things off the menu if for example the Mango’s are not sweet enough, or the coconut is not ripe. They are serious about what they serve.
