A Surprise Gift
The iplayer abroad was on the top of my wishlist last year. I have given hints to everyone I know that I wanted to get my hands on it but nobody seemed to care. I have even told my boyfriend what a good program it is for watching TV shows from other countries. Even he ignored me and whenever he senses I wanted to talk about the Iplayer, he would make excuses to do something. It went on for several weeks until I was about to burst from being pissed. That was when I noticed a piece of paper on my desk where the username and password for an account was written. I typed the website and whooped with joy when they I saw the Iplayer homepage. Everyone entered my room when they heard my shout and laughed at me. I apologized for being a pest for the past week and thanked them for the gift.
Direct TV Bundles Save Money Vs Cable
So after reviewing my last cable TV bill which was almost $100 I decided something had to be done. My cable provider has been Time Warner for the last seven years, and while I have no problems with the picture quality or their customer service, the prices have gotten way out of hand. So I decided to look into a Direct TV bundle and see what was available.
The first thing I noticed was the price, much lower at around $35 for 210 channels. That is introductory, it goes up to $66 in the second year, but still way better than what Time Warner cable is charging me. Then I took a look at their HD DVR. What a nice piece of technology, with hundreds of hours of storgage capacity it really destroys what I currently have. Add to the mix free HD if I am autopay and I was quickly enticed to switch over to satellite TV service.
Nothing Like Satellite TV!
Tonight is my daughters big dance recital. We have all been looking forward to it! Even though I would not miss it for the world, I still don’t want to miss my favorite show that comes on at the same time. It’s a good thing that I don’t have to. With Satellite TV, I have the option to use my DVR and record my favorite movies and shows. Now, I can go to the recital and not have to miss a thing at either place!
Satellite TV is very convenient and affordable. My family and I have been happy customers for a long time now. My kids like it because they can watch their favorite movies in their own rooms and my husband likes it because he has access to all of his favorite sports channels. There is something for everyone with Satellite TV. If you don’t have it, then I highly recommend it! It was the best purchase that we made!
My Son Lost His Charizard and We Almost Never Made It Home
If you’re wondering what my son’s Charizard is, it’s a Pokemon toy. He absolutely adores his Pokemon collection, and last weekend I found out just how much.
We woke on Saturday morning and it was a beautiful day, so we decided to have a family picnic at the beach. So we packed up everybody into the car and drove about an hour and a half to the beach. My son brought along his Charizard toy so that he could have something to play with.
It was an awesome day. There was lots of eating, swimming and quality family time.
However, when we were packing up to come home, my son’s Pokemon toy was nowhere to be found. We looked everywhere for it – down on the beach, around the picnic area, and in the car. But we found nothing.
My son was so distraught.
After finally calming him down, and giving him an ice cream cone we both decided we would take a trip to the store the next day and get a new Charizard.
